The Dina Clarenza Ring is arrayed with multicoloured green onyx, amber citrine, and violet amethyst, which frame a star-shaped medallion, hewn in either gold or silver.
If you look up as you walk through the plaza in front of the Duomo de Messina as the clock strikes the hour, you will notice a flash of gold. The statues of two women ringing the bell at the centre of the Duomo’s archway, a daily ritual that is the shadow of their original heroic act. The two women were standing guard outside their village when it was attacked and ran to sound the alarm successfully rousing the people to defend themselves. Dina and Clarenza are a symbol of devotion, togetherness, and service.
